Welcome to Alida’s Bakery: a family-owned Kurdish-American bakery in Everett, Washington.
Our ranges from fluffy diamond-shaped Iraqi samoon pita bread to flaky, sweet baklava. You can also indulge in our flavorful, halal manakish/manaeesh menu, from zesty za’atar to savory beef lahmacun/lahmajeen.
Our mission: to create the highest quality Middle Eastern breads and desserts, while empowering our community by celebrating the heritage inside every delicious bite.

Nechirvan Zebari

Hi, my name is Nechirvan Zebari. You can call me Nech (pronounced like “beach”). I was born in Iraqi Kurdistan and moved to the United States when I was five years old. I was inspired to open Alida’s Bakery because my family never had a fresh & reliable source of Middle Eastern breads like Iraqi samoon pita.
Until now.
In 2016, I became interested in baking, and learned how to bake from my brother and his wife (the bakery, Alida’s, is named after them). As one of few Middle Eastern bakeries in the region, I strive to earn your trust and make our bread super fresh, memorable, authentic and delicious, every single day.
